A GLOBAL PROGRAM by FUNDACION ALIANZA HUMANA IHA
PROGRAM TO PROTECT THE COMMUNITIES AGAINST ILLICIT DRUGS
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE
REDUCE OFFER
PRODUCTION
THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY OF SOLVING THE NEEDS OF A COMMUNITY LOCATED IN A REMOTE REGION WITH ONLY
AGRICULTURE PROGRAMS
(The old model):
FACTORS THAT PUSH THE COMMUNITIES IN THE PRODUCTION OF ILLICIT DRUGS
A COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTION IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO COMMUNITIES AT RISK OF PRODUCTION
UNDER A MULTI-SECTOR PARTICIPATION MODEL THAT ALLOWS SUSTAINABILITY.
SOCIO-ECONOMIC ALTERNATIVE FOR COMMUNITIES
LOCATED IN REMOTE AREAS
REDUCTION OF ILLICIT DRUG PRODUCTION
TERRITORIAL TRANSFORMATION
The old strategy of military intervention has not been a solution, it is necessary to transform the territories under new schemes, where multisectoral participation is key
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND BIODIVERSITY
In Colombia, 111 hectares of the jungle are deforested every day according to reports from the Anti-Narcotics Police. Out of 59 National Natural Parks, 16 are affected by the loss of the forest as a result of illicit crops
The multisectoral participation (Private & Public ENTITIES and CITIZENS) in THE COMMUNITARIAN INTERVENTION PROGRAM ZERO - D – FREE OF DRUGS Voluntary Certification, becomes a source of resources generation to finance THE HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION PROGRAM - ZERO D - socio-economic development parks for communities affected by the production of illicit drugs
.THE HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION PROGRAM becomes a motivator (Private & Public ENTITIES and CITIZENS) to participate in the ZERO D FREE OF DRUGS Voluntary Certification program since with this participation, they are collaborating in the solution of a problem that affects all mankind.
The purpose of the HIGH PRODUCTIVITY PARALLEL PROGRAMS is to finance the territorial transformation of vulnerable communities affected by the production of illicit drugs.
These types of programs are not necessarily located in the areas close to the communities. The communities do not intervene directly either; they only receive the resources that allow financing the territorial transformation and the socio-economic development of these vulnerable communities that, in most cases, are enslaved by illegal groups and forced to intervene in the production of illegal drugs.
These programs are integrated into territorial transformation under a model of strategic alliances where an experienced company DESIGN THE PROGRAM - BUILD - OPERATE - MAINTAIN; and the economic benefits produced by the program are transferred to the community for territorial transformation and socio-economic development.
This modality of programs becomes an alternative to finance vulnerable communities that intervene in natural parks, destroying tropical forests and affecting biodiversity.
