Colombia's Air Traffic to Grow Nearly 5% Over the August Holiday Weekend
Colombia expects to move 914,202 passengers on scheduled flights between August 6 and 10, 2026 — a 4.9% increase over the same period last year, according to figures reported by Aviacionline. Of that total, roughly 551,649 travelers will fly domestic routes and 362,553 international routes, meaning nearly 40% of passengers will fly abroad. Monday, August 10 will be the busiest day, with 186,529 passengers, followed by Friday, August 7 with 185,974, while daily averages will range between 178,000 and 186,000 travelers.
The figures confirm a sustained recovery and growth trend in the country's air traffic, both domestically and internationally. A growing market demands airports, airlines, and operators with increasingly efficient supply chains and technical support — the space where C.I. Aerodinámica Inc. supports Colombia's and the region's commercial aviation sector.
