FAC's C-130 Hercules Aircraft Lead Humanitarian Aid Effort to Venezuela

Two Colombian Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft transported a field hospital, medications, medical equipment, and a 35-person team from Emergency Medical Team (EMT) Colombia to Venezuela, as part of the response to the earthquakes recorded on June 24, Infodefensa and the FAC reported. The operation, which followed the Bogotá–Cali–Maiquetía–Bogotá route, moved roughly 26 tons of humanitarian aid, including enough supplies to set up a field hospital capable of treating up to 150 patients a day for two months.

With more than 20 tons of cargo capacity and long range, the C-130H remains Colombia's primary strategic airlift asset.
